You’re a part time photographer, and it’s that time of year when your day job ends just before the sun goes down. What do you shoot? You still have the weekends, but sometimes that just isn’t enough. Another option is to take some low light images. Tripods are one approach, or find a street with lighted shops. And this time of year, Christmas decorations are abundant. Here are some images I captured recently on Main Street in Cooperstown NY. Cooperstown is nice and quiet this time of year. There are not as many tourists visiting the museums. But that also means many of the shops are closed for the season. But enough there are places that are still open, and you can find some interesting compositions. These were taken with the Fujifilm XT5 and 33 f1.4, hand held using a fairly high ISO and In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS).
