Excellent insight here on the importance of not rushing through life. The discoveries you made after the falls wouldn't have been. made if you were rushing and racing, as we're all trained to do, even when we're not working. The bag-it and grab-it approach to life leaves curiosity, discovery, and life highlights behind. It's not a sprint to the death.

Great shots Bob. A lot of my work is mid lengthy hike and therefore transient. I sometimes treat myself to the type of shoot you describe here but it’s rare. I need to do it more often.

Nice shots, Bob! I agree that it's worth just taking a bit of time to explore these types of places. There's no reason to rush although I find myself rushing at times. Some of the best times that I have are when I just take a snack and sit on some rocks and do nothing for a bit. I just sit there and notice little things that I want to shoot.

That’s the hardest skill to learn and remember for me… do not rush!
