Over the past few weeks, I’ve been digging out my old film cameras that I haven’t touched in decades, and seeing which ones still work. It’s been a mix of surprises. Two have been repaired, one has meter issues, and one seems to be working well.
I’ve also been testing out newer film stocks that didn’t exist the last time I shot film seriously. Some of these frames are from walks around our small town here in Central New York. Others were just quick tests in familiar spots.
I thought I would share a few more of them this week. Not perfect, but it’s a learning experience.

I’ve got a few more rolls headed out for processing soon. Comment below if you want to see more posts like this.

What I’m currently reading… David duChemin’s The Heart of the Photograph. David is always a great source of inspiration, and this book is an excellent read.
