You can also give black and white film a chance.

Cool thing is you can develop the film by yourself and then scan it.

You don't need a dark room for that. Everything you need will be like 100 USD invest. But it is so much worth it.

Oh definitely, I shoot it all. Just happened to be going through old slides when I wrote this. I’ve been stocking up on color and black and white negative film to run through the camera now that I’ve got it out. I probably won’t do much E6 now. I haven’t decided if I’m going to try developing my own film yet or not. That will mostly depend on how much film I end up shooting.
